Byron Bagby
Byron Bagby served in the U.S. Army for 33 years and retired as a Major General. He has filled leadership positions in five of the Army’s eleven combat divisions and has spent a majority of his career leading and training Army, Joint and Multinational organizations. He has served as Commandant of Joint Forces Staff College and Chief of Staff of U.S. Army Europe. He has combat experience in Grenada and Afghanistan. He earned a master’s degree in Higher Education from UNC-Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Economics from Westminster College.
He serves on several corporate and not-for-profit boards, including two university boards of trustees. He is a 2011 Westminster College Lifetime Alumni Achievement Award recipient, and was inducted into the Fulton Public Schools Hall of Fame. He has earned the National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow credential. He is co-founder of BMB Solutions, LLC; among its areas of focus are executive leadership development and coaching, governance and strategic planning.
